An infrared sauna is a dry sauna, which means it does not need any moisture or steam to create heat, instead it uses infrared light that creates radiant heat, which is absorbed by the skin surface providing a deep, penetrating heat. Infrared saunas are more effective at stimulating detoxification and gentler on the body than traditional hot rock saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs. Deep, cellular sweating is key to detoxify and energise your body, and it’s a great way to relax!
Infrared heat is the invisible part of the sun’s spectrum, which has the ability to gently and comfortably penetrate human tissue to produce a host of health benefits which include:

Pre sauna session, hydrate with at least 250ml (one glass) of water to prepare your body for an increase in core body temperature.
Don’t be surprised if you don’t sweat much during the first few sessions. Sweating will increase with regular use, removing toxins and leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Post sauna session enjoy a cooling shower and dry off with our lovely 100% organic cotton towel, motioning towards your heart to get the added benefit of lymphatic drainage.
You’re welcome to have a herbal tea or filtered water and read a book in our recovery lounge after your session.
